New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans were struggling to carve out a space in the popular consciousness of football-obsessed New Orleanians, and hired PETERMAYER to help them establish their own voice in the New Orleans community. “Won’t Bow Down” was suggested as a brand mantra that reflected defiant strength and grit while tying the Pelicans to a unique facet of New Orleans culture. I helped to develop this suite of word marks featuring the Won’t Bow Down and WBD brand lines, including optimization for a wide array of production applications in signage, merchandizing, etc.

This campaign has won numerous advertising awards, including a Silver Globey from AMIN Worldwide, a Silver Regional ADDY, and Best in Show from the Ad Club of New Orleans.
